If you haven't registered to be a participant or caddy in the Chick Flick next Saturday then the time is now. There are still a few spots available and this promises to be one of the best events of the summer.

The August Meeting will be held on Tuesday August 12th at 7:30 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Next Adventure store in Portland. Come early for exclusive Stumptown member discounts on meeting nights. Also, NA usually provides pizza and drinks for all so come on out and join us as we discuss disc golf topics relevant to the PDX community.

July News: Several volunteers from Stumptown Disc Golf completed a disc golf clinic at Hough Elementary in Vancouver Washington. It was awesome to watch 50 children from first to sixth grade playing disc golf in the park-like field behind their school. The clinic lasted for eight days with the final two days being a elementary level 9 hole disc course set up with the longest hole being about 100'. The course included a couple of mando's elevation change of about 20' on a couple holes and one hole that was only about 20' in length but blocked by a baseball backstop. The children and their counselors all had a blast playing. The best score on the couse from a student was a 25 for the 9 hole course. Leaders and instructors played the course closer to 19-20.
